Nope, no cycling this weekend

With temps in the teens, and snow falling all weekend, I didn’t get any cycling in. I did get a lot done toward getting my 12X20 shed switched over to a “finished” building. I bought the wood stove, the insulation and the paneling for what will be my studio. We tore out the incredible shelving that was in there because it took up 40% of the floor space. We will be finishing the rafters into loft storage and will have nearly as much storage, as the rafters extend over the porch. 1/3 of the walls are insulated and I did a demolition job on the workshop, so John can replace rotten subflooring with new subflooring.

Our son came to visit with his new wife (5 months) and we had lunch together. We did go to Lewisburg Saturday and had a nice lunch. I’m very anxious for more comfortable cycling weather.

About rivercityweaves

I'm a mom, wife and fiber artist, living in rural Virginia. On days I'm not creating fiber art or teaching others how to, I'm probably saddle surfing on my Bianchi, or laughing with friends.
