How could I NOT ride to day.

Glorious day for a ride. I hit up a friend and we did a brief 20. Not at a clip, but I wasn’t really ashamed of our pace either, since we did pass the old lady on a cruiser who was pedaling with her left foot in a cast, slung from the left handlebar. We might have gotten 20 miles. The sun felt great the pace was perfect. Thanks Dave. Better yet, we both had UVA articles of clothing on. Nothing like being of the same mind with your cycling partner on the really important things in life.

The wind was pretty beastly. If I didn’t have to be home to teach this evening, I would have headed up to the Mt Vernon trail. I’m wondering if I can get a trip up to NOVA and get that in before I leave.

Get a ride in today. It’s a stunning day for it.

Go make your own breeze and remember: if you’re not having fun; you’re in the wrong gear.

It was not such a stunning day here sadly.

While you were cycling yesterday, we were trying to swim out of the bucket that our yard had become from such torrents.
As optimists, we can always anticipate a lovelier day tomorrow.

Any thoughts?
