The route on this segment of the tour is easy. We’re taking the Pacific Coast Highway. 50-60/mpd. The companion group is now forming. Names will be added as cyclists express an interest in the tour.
Dates for the Pacific Coast leg of the tour are 9/1/11- 10/15/11.

Got this address from Phoebe last night at First Fridays in Powhatan and just want you to know I think this is a most marvelous adventure and I am proud to know you and jealous of all the adventures you must be having.
I became a widow for the second time and a grandmother for the first time in a month and four days by April 19 and thus am on the other side of sanity. My spirit, however, is pedaling with you. I hope people along the way are treating you as well as you treated George and me when we were campmasters at Brady Saunders.

Thank you for posting. I’m sorry for your loss. The people I have met along the way have been more wonderful than I have ever been in my life. It’s such a lesson for me.
The trip is excellent, though it has it’s own challenges. Be well. I’ll pray for God to minister to you.
