Exploring more of Vashon Island

Yesterday and today we spent more time exploring Vashon. We took a lovely walk around Fisher pond and the Land Trust property. Here are a few pictures:

We cycled out of the hostel to the south, but it circled back around and we wound up on the North West side of the island. Lots of big hills! We were exhausted and had supper out at a little mexican place. Stopped at the Thriftway and picked up a few groceries, then cycled back. We made  more cobbler, picked up a few apples to cook for breakfast and sacked out.

Today, we moved out of our room, and are in a tent for the evening. We cycled to the southern part of the island. Explored the tidal field at low tide, a pier, and the local coffe roastery. We walked a lot of hills. I fell once, and almost dove off the road into a ravine. I’m tired. We are cooking oysters and shrimp for dinner. Gotta go.
